Telehealth
What Is Telehealth?
Telehealth, or a “virtual visit,” is a consultation with one of our pediatricians via video conferencing. This option is convenient, allows your child to be seen without coming into our office, and provides care by your regular pediatrician (who knows your child’s full history and has access to their medical chart).
Pediatric Associates of Mt. Carmel offers virtual visits for certain medical conditions including ADHD, anxiety, or depression. These appointments allow you direct access to your doctor from the comfort of your home. The videos are HIPAA compliant and the same confidentiality rules apply for telemedicine as if you were in our office.
We are using doxy.me for our virtual visits. Our front office staff will provide you with a web link to your specific doctor's virtual waiting room when they schedule your visit. Follow this link for more instructions on how to gain access to your doctor's virtual waiting room.
