Are You Expecting?
Congratulations!
Starting or expanding a family is a wonderful experience, filled with excitement, joy, and plenty of questions. We deeply value the trust families place in us. Watching children grow, thrive, and achieve their highest potential is one of the greatest privileges of working in pediatrics, and it’s a responsibility we take to heart every day!

Before Your First Appointment
We offer prenatal visits to help you prepare for your baby’s arrival, answer any questions, and introduce you to our practice. Our board-certified pediatricians, lactation support, same-day sick visits, and after-hours care ensure your little one receives the best care from day one.

After delivery
Please call our office and we’ll take care of the rest — we’ll schedule your baby’s first appointment and complete registration right over the phone. We always reserve appointment times specifically for newborns, so there’s no need to worry about availability.
Let the hospital staff know you’ve chosen Pediatric Associates of Mt. Carmel as your child’s pediatrician. This helps ensure your baby’s hospital records are sent to the correct office. Our fax number is 513-752-3387.
Your First Appointment
When you arrive for your first visit, our front desk team will check you in and bring you and your baby directly to an exam room. Any required paperwork can be completed comfortably in the room or taken home if you prefer. This includes forms such as treatment authorization and patient portal enrollment.
If you would like to see our lactation consultant during your visit, please let your doctor know at the appointment or call the office ahead of time so we can schedule this for you.
What to Bring
- Any paperwork from the hospital, including hearing screen results and immunization records.
- Any available insurance information (often only the parent’s insurance is available at the first visit).
- Plenty of diapers and an extra set of clothes.
- Completing the new patient forms help streamline your visit.
