Our Integrated Services
In cases where more expertise is needed, our Integrated Behavioral Health team can provide consultation or direct services.
We are the only pediatric private practice in the area with a board-certified psychiatrist who is also board-certified in pediatrics! Our therapists also have their own offices at all of our locations.
How It Works:
Your child must be seen by a pediatrician at our practice for referral to our behavioral health providers. New patients are welcome! Wait times are variable but are often shorter than in the community. Your pediatrician can determine if your child would benefit most from psychiatry, therapy, or both. Our behavioral health team will review the referral and ask for specific forms to be completed prior to scheduling. We will collaborate with your pediatrician throughout your care. When treatment goals are met, your child will "graduate" from our services but continue to follow up regularly with your pediatrician.
Psychiatry:
Our psychiatrist starts with a 60 minute diagnostic evaluation, then continues to see patients that are on medications. After doing well for a period of time, patients will be transitioned back to their pediatrician for ongoing care.
Therapy:
Therapists will establish treatment goals, then provide behavioral strategies to meet these goals. Under some circumstances, we will direct you to providers outside of our practice to receive the most appropriate care.
